Private Networking in Lightspeed Hosting VPS
Description:
Private Networking allows private connectivity between VMs hosted on Lightspeed Hosting. This connectivity is not metered as part of your monthly usage, and allows you to build complex topologies to meet unique demands of your business.
Implementation:
- Within the Client Area, click on Network.
Note that creating a private network will require any VMs being attached to be restarted to take effect.
- Interfaces will be created with DHCP enabled, however the platform will not provide DHCP services for you. You will need to either create your own DHCP server, or statically assign IP Addresses within the private networks.
